About this site

I already have a personal blog at blog.ry2l.cz, but to be honest, I have neglected it for quite a long time. It runs on WordPress, and over time I realized that I simply lost some of my enthusiasm for that platform.

The original idea was to keep it as a general personal blog, but it gradually became focused mostly on technology, electronics, computers, and random gadgets anyway.

Why Ghost?

Because of that, I decided to try something different: Ghost. I wanted a cleaner and more lightweight writing experience that feels closer to simple publishing and less like maintaining a complex CMS.

This blog will be focused exclusively on technologies that interest me — retro hardware, electronics, networking, security, ham radio, calculators, gadgets, programming, and other technical experiments that I find worth sharing.

Why Subscribe?

If you enjoy old-school technology, unusual hardware, technical deep dives, or random experiments that sometimes probably should not work but somehow do, you may find this blog interesting. I plan to publish practical notes, discoveries, repairs, reverse engineering attempts, and thoughts about both modern and obsolete technology.
